Nothing about 2020 went as predicted. As we worked toward opening our beautiful new stadium in Las Vegas to Raider Nation, our plans were put on hold due to a global pandemic. We also learned that fans would not be allowed in Allegiant Stadium for the 2020 season due to COVID-19 safety concerns. Regardless, my Senior Graphic Designer, Cami Bennett, and I spent nearly a year planning, designing and perfecting this 2020 Inaugural Season Ticket Box – and we were thankful Owner Mark Davis still wanted to send it out to our season ticket holders as a commemorative gift.
The response was overwhelming. As anxious fans received their gift, videos started launching on social media and the box soon went viral. We were humbled by the love for this design and that it provided some joy during such a difficult time.
The Las Vegas Raiders 2020 Inaugural Season Ticket Box also won a 2021 Regional Gold ADDY Award from the American Advertising Federation. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category.
